Play Street supported by Quayside Salford

Play Streets began right here in Salford in the 1920s. In 2026, we’re bringing them back.

Picture a play on the Lowry Plaza as one long line of activity where every age can join in. It starts small, with play and creative workshops for the younger generations, and grows as you move along, games, movement, skate zones and spaces for teens to make their own.​
