Walk the Bupa Loop and step-up for Salford

Location: Meet at the Bupa Loop start point – opposite the Alchemist

Time: 10:30 and 14:30 on Saturday and Sunday

Step free route. Suitable for all ages. Children to be supervised at all times.

Step-up for Salford and take part in the Bupa Loop, a family-friendly micro marathon around the festival site (only 1.2 miles, rather than 26!).
For every person that joins, The Bupa Foundation will plant a tree locally – helping to make Salford and Greater Manchester greener. You can also expect to be joined by some special guests along the way and remember to visit the Bupa hub once you’ve completed the loop to collect your medal!

The Bupa Foundation is our lead partner for We Get Healthy. As part of their #HealthyCities campaign, they’re encouraging people to get more active in June (this includes festival-goers!). In return they’re donating up to £750,000 to green charitable causes.

This includes their Green Community Grants programme, where local schools and community groups can apply for a £2000 grant to support a green project. Applications are open 1-30 June.
