Northern Soul DJ – Poppy Turner

Poppy Turner is a Yorkshire raised and Sheffield based DJ, playing northern soul, disco and everything in between from her box of 7 inch vinyl. She’s a resident at Deptford Northern Soul Club’s monthly nights at YES, Manchester, and has been a regular guest with them since the early Bunker Club days of the party, everywhere from eARTh Hackney to Glastonbury Festival.

She’s played sold out shows across the country, at the Trades Club in her home town of Hebden Bridge, Sheffield’s audiophile loft style party Apricot Ballroom, and at DIY venues like Partisan and Foodhall where the nightlife feeds back into the community. She’s a resident on Sheffield’s Mondo Radio with her monthly show Date Night.
