Dreamed A Dream with Mikesian Studio Step into the world of dreams with us at We Invented the Weekend.

Location: Hot House

Time: Saturday and Sunday

Inspired by the Salford anthem “Dirty Old Town,” we’re creating a large scale display of dreams to be paraded around the festival. Starting in our solo “dream booths”, we’re inviting everyone to delve deep, revealing their aspirations & dreams for the future under the cloak of complete anonymity.

After depositing your dreams in the sealed box, these will be transported to the print studio – a vibrant workshop where anonymous thoughts are transformed into giant placards.

These printed placards will amass throughout the weekend, creating a gallery of dreams within the festival. When the time comes for the parade – we encourage you to get involved, holding a dream high and proud, during a colourful march that winds its way throughout the festival.

It’s a chance for everyone to see and celebrate the hopes and dreams of our participants. Join us on this inspiring journey and let’s turn aspirations into art.
