Play Street supported by Quayside Salford: Design Your Own Play Street

Design Your Own Play Street — a fun, family-friendly activity presented by Salford Cultural Education Partnership where children can get creative and imagine the perfect street for play.

Using colourful art materials and street maps, young designers can draw, build and imagine their own play street ideas, from games and green spaces to places to ride, explore and meet friends. As children create, we’ll also be listening to their thoughts and experiences to learn more about how they like to play. This hands-on activity is a chance for families to share ideas, spark imagination and help shape more playful, child-friendly streets for everyone.
