Hidden Canal: a soundwalk with Walk the Plank

Join Walk the Plank on a journey through the waterways of Salford, including the canal mentioned in the infamous Pogues song Dirty Old Town. The Hidden Canal sound walk begins at the River Irwell at Middlewood Locks, before disappearing from sight until you near Agecroft Cemetery. Created by Salford, Greater Manchester and European artists working in partnership through the Creative Embassies network and presented by Walk the Plank alongside the Manchester Bolton and Bury Canal Society.
