Guided walks with GM Ringway

Location: The Green

Time: 10:00 – 17:00 on Saturday and Sunday meet members of the GM Ringway team and find out more about the routes, walks of Salford Quays start at 14:00.

Route Distance: 4.8 miles, 75 metres ascent

This easy, step-free afternoon ‘walk for all’.  It is a level, circular route that includes an easy section of GM Ringway – Greater Manchester’s walking trail – as well as other local paths.

Highlights of the walk, which is also suitable for new or returning walkers, wheelchair-users and families with children, include:

• Virtually all of the Salford Quays waterfront
• The green oasis of Ordsall Park
• The modern architecture of Imperial War Museum North and MediaCity UK
• Ordsall Hall, a Tudor manor house and gardens in the heart of Salford.There will be a chance to enjoy a drink together afterwards in one of the bars or cafes at Salford Quays.Meet Point: GM Ringway on The Green
