Salford Voices Banner Exhibition and Pop Up

2026 marks 100 years since Salford was officially granted city status, and Art with Heart are on a mission to capture what it truly means to be from Salford.

Visit the Salford Voices Banner Exhibition which reimagines the coat of arms of the City of Salford, created by artists Chris Alton, Emily Simpson and residents at Broughton Community Centre. Artist Ada Eravama has created an audio description of the banners for blind and partially sighted visitors.

We’ve got loads for the whole family to enjoy at our pop-up celebration station where you can get crafty with Salford themed activities or sign the centenary birthday book.
